Kotor 2 Skipping Dialogue Bug
A: I have played into what they meant by "memory leaks". One game (which I won) came up in an error log that was complaining about not being able to free memory from the heap. The reason was that I had been filling the first pixel of the next character before I played the last one in the previous line. This resulted in (among other things) the game continuously trying to make the last character out of that one empty space. So the game was going through loops of filling one pixel of each character and then not freeing any memory. I didn't actually notice this until I found it in the error log. Fixing this was simple: Simply only assign the next character at the very end of the line, before the looping to write the next. I suspect that this is one of the things that is causing the crash in The New Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. You can find the details in this post: Rural Municipality of Baldy The Rural Municipality of Baldy is a former rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It was originally incorporated as a rural municipality on November 1, 1883. It ceased on January 1, 2015 as a result of its provincially mandated amalgamation with the RM of Winterburn to form the Rural Municipality of Winterburn-Baldy. The Government of Manitoba, through the Ministry of Municipal Affairs, originally incorporated the RM of Baldy on November 1, 1883. The Village of Baldy at the time of its incorporation was a farming settlement of about 100 people. The rural municipality had a population of 2,516 in 1903 and was part of the Winnipeg Rural Municipality. On January 1, 1995, the RM of Baldy and the RM of Dauphin merged to form the RM of Dauphin. On January 1, 2002, the RM of Dauphin became part of the newly formed municipality of Rural Municipality of Dauphin, and the RM of Baldy was dissolved.
